Library Restoration Project

Thank you to our wonderful alumni association for their efforts on preserving the library’s beautiful woodwork. A three-week restoration began at the beginning of this summer.  According to Frank Setteducati ’70, the work focused "on water and heat damage (around windows and radiation), intensive stripping and cleaning, minimal re-staining, and finally, resealing with shellac." It looks fantastic! It should be noted that Head Custodian, Gino DiClemente brought this project to the attention of the alumni association. We appreciate the hard work of our custodial staff. We look forward to the big reveal on Sunday, September 9th at noon.
